2b/nt2b=?Apparently, some UK or europe brainchild has decided to start some sms system sending classic literary works like shakespeare, emily bronte, etc. to subscribers in ultra condensed form, hence the title.
But this has got nothing to do with it. While escaping from my study chores, I've discovered and decided 2 things:
01) I wanna work in the MHA.
02) Though prison falls under this subset too.
03) Or CAAS.
04) Honours without 2nd upper is shit.
05) Honours without a '2nd' is even worse.
06) Though these would gain you entry at certain jobs.
07) Career (not to be confused with job) prospects are so exciting!
08) Of course, the keyword here is 'prospects', not 'career'.
09) Is my CCA record good enough to offset mediocre grades? I sure hope so.
10) I can't wait to graduate.
REAL contribution to the real world, here i come!

S-E-X: a summary of MY findings (inferred from others', of course)Ok, Sex report has concluded, and despite my not very effortful efforts, the B has more or less been justified.
Since it's not very spectacular or anything, here's the gist of the paper,
1) If anyone's looking for adolescent sexual data in sunny island sg, the landmark reports come from SPPA (1988, 1999), Ball and Moselle (1995), possibly some published report from Nexus Research Centre in NTU (cite ST 2005) and today's (12 Nov 05) ST report (pp. S10). Anything else, it's either non-existent or not worthy.
2) Mean age of first sexual intercourse would have occured around 16.4 for boys and 15.6 for girls (1990). Nobody dares mention anything about sexual debut ever since. Fair enough, since the stupid girls can go fucking around and leave the legal implications to the poor sods stupid enough to fuck them without verifyin their ID.
3) 20% of teens would have had sex by the time they're 19. Ya, 'prevalence' values are less intimidating.
4) In terms of asians, we're the least horny, sexually debuting at age 19, followed by the PRCs at 18, before Japanese at 16. Swedish are the horniest, having had sex the first time round around age 15. Isn't that bloody illegal? Incidentally, the swedes have one of the highest abortion rates worldwide too.
5) Contraceptive use wise, 50% (1999) of youths does not practice its usage, even though we all know wat STD and pregnancy are about.
6) The government doesn't want people finding out about sex! SPPA website is DISMALLY appalling. Singstats, in lieu of the Pay-And-Pay (rd: acronym) policy expects one to PAY for dated data. But then inferring from available data, it doesn't seem to have anything about sex either.
7) The legal age for statutory rape stands at FOURTEEN, not sixteen. But then, women's charter has sneakily included this clause that says one cannot have sex with anyone below 16 unless u're legally married. However, statutory rape still stands, which effectively puts the mark at between 14-16. (Stupid lecturer had the cheek to doubt credibility of '14'; i mean that's wat the citations are for rite? If you don't believe me, just bloody check the source! I don't make the rules!)
8) Early sexual behaviour = high risk behaviours = deviant behaviours. By '=', I mean correlated. Nothing equates to anything in the realms of social science. However, sexual development in young adults is normative. They have a right to choose and the capacity to decide whether or not to have sex!
9) Early menarche and early spermarche is BAD. All things sexual follows (though not necessarily so) after that. However, close and positive parental r/s (usually of the opposite sex) should be able to offer some reprive.
10) 82% of American primetime (Friends, etc., 2002) talked/showed about sex, but only 10% of them actually made inferences to related risks and precaution. Expected results, but so what? US TV is bad? I can still get them off the net! Plus, taking FHM as a yardstick, its US edition is so much MILDER as compared to its UK or Aussie counterparts. Don't even bother talking about the M'sia version, i'd be better off reading 'seventeen' or 'teenage' magazine. I think even 'young generation' features more scantily clad cutiepies (for eg. the naked green pal watshisname of vinnie the vampire).
Why did i get a 'B'? Cos everything is last minute, thought thanks to rebellious and independent thinking, as well as a painstakingly done 7 page reference mediated all the bad writing, and I think I deserved every bit of it.
